Peer Reviews

One of the best parts about this class was getting to see everyone else's work. We were told to peer review other classmate's work and it was truly helpful because I got to see how everyone used their creativity and how their projects reflected their personalities.
Here is some feedback for the people I evaluated:

Juan Aragon
Juan's capstone project was about International Business Relations. His end product was a course to educate people about proper business etiquette and to give them an insight on new technologies that are now available to them to help them succeed. Juan created a poster with statistics that really stood out and were very informative for people who didn't know much about the subject.
He also created a power point that talked about different counties and how each country manages their businesses. It was insightful to see how advanced the business world is today and how much it has the potential to grow. The sole problem I had with his project was that I thought it needed a better website. The website was lacking in some areas, but had a really good overall layout. If he changes it to include more information and better design, it will be perfect.

Bereket Zeru
Bereket's capstone project focused on a very important topic in today's society. He claims that Wylie High School does not have the technological advancments that many other schools in Dallas are fortuante enough to have. DCCCD has smartboards, eCampus, Mac Computers, iPads, and many other high-tech products, while Wylie HS does not have these. For his end product, Bereket created a petition that needed 100 signatures to reach the Board of Trustees. He also created a website in order to spread the word and promote his project. I think Bereket's idea was great and I loved that he cared about the success of the school. The one thing that I recommended was that it would have been better if he had began the petition a while back, so he could have the 100 signatures by the time he presented. I also recommended that he make a Facebook page promoting it and begin by adding parents of students who go to Wylie HS because they would be a good target.
